This Saturday, August 10th, immerse yourself in a vibrant celebration of queer hope, poetry, and community, brought to you by RAUM, Queer in Wonderland, Unwanted Words, and Garden of Queerdom.

🍲 Communal Dinner & Conversation

Our evening begins with a communal dinner organized by Garden of Queerdom in collaboration with neighborhood restaurant Venster. Garden of Queerdom is a collective dedicated to foraging food from urban nature, offering a delightful three-course dinner crafted from local plants and herbs.

During dinner, we’ll engage in a thought-provoking discussion on the future of queer hope, guided by Garden of Queerdom. Let’s explore how we can collectively envision and build a sustainable, diverse future. Join the conversation, express your creativity, and share your visions for a better tomorrow.

🎤 Queer Poetry and Spoken Word Performances

After dinner, the stage is set for Unwanted Words and a curated line-up of poets and spoken word artists. In collaboration with Queer in Wonderland, Unwanted Words will present an evening full of powerful stories, poetry, and spoken word performances.

Line-up:

1. Jowi Len Kemper (she/her): A spoken word artist and copywriter, Jowi’s work delves into themes of identity, sexuality, and freedom through the lens of the cross-cultural experience.

1. Ludwika (she/he/they): Ludwika is a versatile artist and performer of erotic poetry, exploring the broad spectrum of queer kink and art.

1. Tal (they/them): A spoken word artist who conveys deep emotion and urgency in their poetry, Tal’s art focuses on identity, queerness, mental health, and healing from trauma.

1. Sam Anaïs (they/them): Sam is a creative writer and storyteller, illuminating the human experience and its vulnerabilities.

The evening will be hosted by the founder of Unwanted Words, Lui Montes (he/they), and will feature two special performances curated by Queer in Wonderland.
